ABOUT AL AREEN MARTIAL ARTS
Where authenticity, discipline, and true personal development live.
A Training Home Built on Lineage, Discipline & Truth
In a city built on speed, trends, and commercial fitness culture,
Al Areen exists for one purpose:
To preserve authentic martial arts and real strength training —
and to teach them the way they were meant to be taught.
This academy is not for everyone.
It is for those ready to train with honesty, courage, and respect.
OUR STORY
The Beginning: A Different Path
Al Areen was founded to be everything that modern training environments are missing:
- real standards
- real lineage
- real discipline
- real cultural respect
- real personal transformation
No shortcuts.
No watered-down techniques.
No ego-driven gym culture.
Just truth in training.
From day one, the academy was built as a place where students could step away from noise and distractions and finally focus on themselves — deeply, honestly, and consistently.
MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
From Wael Alsayegh
Founder & Head Instructor, Al Areen Academy
“Al Areen is not a commercial gym.
It is a training home where people come to grow — physically, mentally, and in character.
When a student walks through our doors, they step into a culture of respect, honesty, discipline, and personal mastery.
I believe martial arts is not only about techniques.
It is about becoming the strongest version of yourself, inside and out.”
Trained in both East and West, and shaped by decades of martial study, Wael carries lineage as an Inayan System of Eskrima Kadua Guro, a Ajarn in Master Toddys Authetic Muay Thai System and a StrongFirst instructor — bringing together precision, internal discipline, and depth of teaching rarely found today.
His commitment is simple:
- Teach with truth.
- Lead with discipline.
- Develop people, not customers.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We Train the Person, Not Just the Technique
At Al Areen, training is built around three pillars:
Authenticity
Real methodology.
Real respect for the arts.
Discipline
Growth
We are not here to impress you. We are here to improve you.
WHY ALAREEN IS DIFFERENT
One Entry Point, Clear Paths & Circles
Every student begins the same way:
Authentic Trial → Coach Assessment → Assigned Path or Circle.
No chaos. No confusion. No ego.
• Training Paths
- Muay Thai
- Mixed-Gender Strength
Students progress from Foundations (open-ended, until ready) into Practitioners — guided by coach assessment, not by a fixed number of weeks.
• Protected Circles
- Ladies Strength Circle (women-only, led by SFG2 Coach Atheer)
- Eskrima Circle (lineage-based Filipino martial arts, led by Wael)
These are small, invitation-based groups for serious students who commit to long-term work.
Small Classes, Real Coaching
Our instructors do not “run workouts”. They teach — with precision, cultural respect, and care.
Lineage-Based Martial Arts & Strength
Muay Thai with traditional values. StrongFirst strength with world-class standards. Eskrima with true Filipino lineage
Serious Culture, Warm Community
We train with intensity, but treat each other with respect. Every person — from child to adult — is seen, supported, and challenged.
We Are Not a Gym
We are a training home. People come to AlAreen to change, not to entertain themselves.
